Nice little bar with good atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. It was remarkably quiet for a Friday night. However, a shaken manhattan was a surprise to be sure, and not necessarily a welcome one. I can say for certain but I think the bartenders may have been under-pouring some of the cocktails too.
The speciality cocktails are all so interesting. If you want something unique, I'd suggest the Alice in Wonderland inspired cocktail - the cute little teapot it was served in made everyone else in my group quite jealous!
For a place with a lot of light bulbs is very dark. Don't put your elbows on the tables. The bartender's are nice but the cocktails are small. Glasses are effeminate, luckily I'm very very comfortable with my masculinity. Music good.
Definitely has gone down hill since I last visited. Cocktails are horrible. Possibly some of the worst I've had in London. Bad crowd. I used to say it had the best cocktails in London with their London borough themed cocktails. They used to put an emphasis on how they made the cocktails. And the decor used to be cool. Now it's nothing special. Sucks.
I wasn't blown away by this place. Cocktails were unecessarily pricey (£10 +). The wait to get served a drink was nearing on half an hour which was madness. The staff weren't very patient or friendly for that matter. The bouncers on the door though were the loveliest. There are nicer places in the area for sure.
