Called into this 15th century pub after a lovely walk around Lizard Point. The Witchball is situated in the heart of Lizard village. It was Boxing Day afternoon and the place was heaving. Good range of drinks ,but on this particularly busy day there was no food or hot drinks available . Perfectly understandable. Service was good and we managed to get a seat at a table before it got even busier. Great post -Xmas atmosphere. Seating available outside too. Dogs welcome. Very well worth a visit
The right side of this pub is 16th Century. I just called in for a pint but it was so good I had to have another. The beers/ales available change regularly to give more choice, on my visit one beer was on promotion at £2.90 a pint. Lots of seating outside and inside.
Very busy pub because of the rugby World Cup. Dinner menu is small, but is accompanied by a much larger selection of specials, which are Caribbean themed and delightful. I had the Caribbean fish curry which was wonderful and full of flavour. My wife had jerk pork with a spice salad, and my son had an e ormous voodoo burger! Throughly recommended.
Popped in for a pint and some food. Best pint of Guinness I'd had for a long time! We had the steak in creamy mushroom sauce on fries, absolutely delicious!
Really nice family meal. Very friendly helpful staff. Simple menu so great food, well cooked and very tasty. Good value also. Only issue is its 10 hour drive from home!
