The Tardy Gate is a friendly local pub which doesn't serve food just very good beer. We have a pool table @ 50p per game, premier league football on two big screens,a quiz night on Thursdays and some entertainment at weekends. You can also enjoy the match whilst having a SMOKE inside our heated outdoor shelter with widescreen tv. Don't forget to check whats on on the web site every week. Athough we allow children on the premises we would ask parents to take them off site by 6 o'clock in the evening.

No food but great atmosphere and service. Would definitely recommend.
I haven't tried the food. But the service and atmosphere is great for people who want to hang out after a rough shift or meeting after a long period of time
The staff were helpful, and friendly. The beers seemed to be kept well, deals were also in place. The pub interior was clean and tidy, it had the feel of a proper local pub. There didn't seem to do cooked food, but they may do. There is a beer garden at the rear, but I didn't use it. The wishing well is situated, close to a lot of public transport, heading to many locations. Worth a visit.
What a grt pub, locals made you feel welcome, proprietor organised the sport we wanted to watch on a TV screen after ringing before hand, beer was great and toilet area and pub was clean lovely young lady on the bar .Quirky outside area with smoking hubs and chain swings to sit around...all in all would and will visit again
