Lovely atmosphere. Great service and the food was hot and well presented. Great old fashioned pub.
Positive: Nice pub, nice location, friendly staff and locals with a nice selection of beers. Negative: Food was poor, we had a burger, came plain with no salad onions or anything and it was very very dry, also had selected sausages in large Yorkshire pudding: This was in fact catering sausages tinned veg with a bit of Bisto gravy. If I was to ever to return it would not be for food.
Nice quaint pub, away from the traffic of the common down the road. Service was really lovely and friendly - the man behind the bar was an absolute delight! Good prices - around £9 for a pint of Thatchers and a pint of Strongbow. Lovely beer garden area to enjoy the drinks in, as well as a gorgeous building to snoop around. Sadly, food seemed limited to certain time frames which meant we couldn't eat when we visited, which was a shame as would love to have tried their meals. Maybe next time!
Quiet, quaint old style pub. Barmaid was lively and friendly, service good and quick and enjoyed nice home cooked lunch. Great little pub!
The staff was friendly but, once seated in the back room we turned on the TV And the ONLY channel available was the one in the picture. The chips we ordered were dreadful and don’t bother to order a pot of tea, it will arrive in a small camping metal pot quite disgusting. Obviously, never again.
