Did the 2 day spa package and every part was excellent. The hotel was super close to the station which was convenient as I came from London. Check in was seamless and we were happy with our room. The spa facilities were incredible and although it was a bit busier on the Friday compared to the Thursday we still didn’t feel like it was crowded. The massages were very relaxing. Dinner at the Alfred was exquisite and we have no complaints. Lovely breakfast spread too with everything I could have wanted. Have recommended to other couples already and expect to return if the deal remains as good.
We spent a day in Winchester hotel as it was my birthday I wanted to relax and enjoy the restaurant . Great reception as we felt special, Immy and Kashya were like angels .manager was there himself and helped us to check in. Friendly and professional people at spa were lovely. Swimming pool and spa in general was at highest standard possible. Dinner was delightful. Gentleman who was serving our table was very helpful and we didn’t have to wait long for our dinner to get ready..great choices of starter ,main and drinks which was made to the top notch plate decoration and it was delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for special occasions. Many thanks
I recently had the opportunity to go to the refurbished spa for a beauty treatment, it was amazing! The facial was lovely and so relaxing I briefly fell asleep. The products left my skin feeling beautifully refreshed and soft. The therapist, Abbie, was thoughtful and made sure my experience was pleasurable. I didn't feel rushed and was even shown around the spa so that I could see what else was on offer. Although I didn't go into the main Hotel the rooms and service in the spa are definitely worthy of 5 stars. The location is an easy drive into Winchester and parking is free! Great first visit.... I'll be back!
Great hotel, superb location for the city centre and very friendly staff. Greeted by a lovely lady called Elsa on reception. Room was lovely and spacious and a great shower. Had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent and again great service from our waitress Lauren. All staff were very helpful and will definitely be back. Thank you.
Had a lovely stay here. Reason for the 4 star is while the room was spacious and clean the amenities weren't great, and looked a little dated. Service was brilliant, staff were polite in the spa, bar, restaurant and reception so many thanks. Location is excellent if your looking to visit winchester but its views consist of a car park. I would still definitely recommend though like I say had a lovely stay here with my wife.
