Great service. Good and tasty food. And great portions too!!! But the music is little too loud inside. But great variety of menu to offer and order. But!!! We always prefer to sit outside, as the music is so too loud inside to have a conversation!! Otherwise this is a perfect pub In Taunton!!! ❤️ Please lower the volume of music inside in weekdays!! 🙏
We hired up stair for our belated wedding reception! It has everything you need up there that you don’t really need to come down stair, the place is kinda perfect for most people’s needs! Manager Anthony and his staff couldn’t have been more helpful so thank you, and another big thank to our bar staff.. friendly and professional.
The food is OK, its a little over priced for the quality, but when you consider the pizza is large enough to feed two and the other portions are a good size it all adds up to be OK. The atmosphere is that of a night time drinking venue that settles for a restaurant during the day, its neither fun, romantic or interesting. As for service the people here are present but I wouldn't say friendly and there was a lot of stuff they couldn't provide for one reason or another.
Had a lovely bottomless brunch with friends. Service was great, lots of customers enjoying themselves made for a super atmosphere. Burgers were lovely, recommend the Dune bug cocktail jug, which we topped up with our bottle of prosecco. Will definitely visit again.
A very nice gastro pub, it's a nice space and environment. There's a good selection of pub foods and beers, although the drinks are a little expensive. They do a 15% discount for stagecoach travellers. It's in a great location for bus travellers and the castle green is gorgeous in the summer.
