This is a cosy local pub away from the main town. It is friendly an warm, with a pool table and large screen for sports fans. The staff were nice and friendly and they had a broad range of beverages including local ales which you can sample. There is seating outside both front and rear too depending on whether you fancy sun or shade.
A chilled out proper pub, cozy with a lovely atmosphere. Prices are great and they serve a lovely pint.

Lovely local pub. Very friendly. Haven't been out locally for such a long time. This pub is not far away from where we live and is really nice. Friendly, good service too.
Great local proper Olde English pub, no restaurant, beers, cider, wines and spirits, plus non alcoholic beverage for the designated drivers. There is a small pool room just beside the bar area, that leads to the toilets and a back entrance that leads to a covered smoking area, which views the car parking spaces. This is a nice place to go, friendly dogs are welcome and muddy boots are left outside, as this pub is at the start or finish of some lovely countryside walks and cycle rides due to the outstanding natural beauty of the local area.
