About us

CHOICES.

There were a number of reasons why we chose to move to Wylye to run the Bell Inn, but one of the biggest was the potential of the pub to become a vital part of the village again and Wylye is a fabulous little village! We all share a love of history and the Bell Inn and the surrounding area have it in abundance and having also all grown up in rural areas it seemed the perfect fit!

Bellow are some of our favourite pictures, both recent and old, of the Bell Inn, Wylye and the surrounding area.

Absolute 5 star pub. The Land lady runs this place perfectly. Very lovely and welcoming, relaxing quiet pub with open fire. Great food menu with the normal stuff but also flat breads and pastas, and got the impression alot of it was home made. Food was tasty and well priced. Pub is located just off the main road so made for a good stop over. Dog and campervan friendly. Thankyou, wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

We had a lovely lunch today. We'd booked a table ahead, which I would recommend, as this was a popular and busy little pub. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very efficient. The food was great and very good value. There was also ample parking which was good as we were in two cars. We would definitely use this pub again!

Fantastic old world pub with lots of rooms and internal features as well as a large fireplace. The village around is just as old and has some very pretty buildings which is worth a stroll around after a big meal. I had a beetroot burger which was crispy and sweet on a bed of Mediterranean vegetable rice filled by a chocolate muffin brownie cross with a cookies and cream ice cream which was very yummy

Lovely pub, good atmosphere and food. A ' thriving' traditional village pub. Three course meal with a couple of drinks. Excellent value £60.

Perfect lunch pit stop between Southampton and Glastonbury just off the A303. Recommended on P4N so decided to drop in to break up my drive. Lunch is served until 4pm. Lovely traditional English pub w/car park and side courtyard with hanging vines. Beautiful. Serves up a decent big pot of tea. Good value. Lovely village. Would like to return and explore on a nature walkabout.
