Set within the historic grounds of the Duke of Somerset’s estate, The Bradley Hare is a traditional village pub with rooms. We invite you to taste local beers and eclectic wines, enjoy exceptional food, and unwind in elegantly appointed rooms characterised by high ceilings, bay windows, and 19th century furnishings. The rooms will be warmed by roaring fires in the colder months, and a large private garden for warmer days.
Our menus use fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to create exceptional pub classics with a contemporary flair. Our extensive wine list, which includes traditional stalwarts alongside more adventurous labels, is curated to complement our ever-evolving dishes.
Great hotel and pub! The rooms are super comfortable and the overall ambiance at The Hare is truly delightful. The staff is incredibly accommodating. The location is perfect for those traveling by car, with numerous charming villages and Stonehenge just 30 minutes away. Highly recommend!
We have not stayed at the hotel but every visit for a meal has been excellent. Great, laid back service from knowledgeable staff. Very good food too.
We had the most incredible weekend at The Bradley Hare; we fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the wreath-adorned double doors. The character and charm of the building is second-to-none and the staff were very welcoming and attentive - even amending the dining room setup to accommodate our request to sit by a fireplace! We enjoyed the selection of games in the lounge area as well as the standalone bath in our gorgeous room. We will be BACK to our new favourite pub in the South-West.
We had a great stay exploring Hauser & Worth and Stourhead. Our dinner was delicious, service was fantastic! The room was full of character, but the road was busy outside, so quite noisy with the window open overnight.
Highly recommend. A beautiful country pub hotel in a quiet and relaxed setting. locally and excellent service. Rooms are styled in a mix of traditional and rustic Fabulous food, all the better for being sourced furnishings with contemporary lighting and artwork. A charming outside garden space with beautiful flower boarders and patio. Couldn't ask for more. Hope to return in the future.
