We ate there on Sunday 14th January 2024 and thought it was nothing special but okay, the staff were very noisy probably because it wasn't too busy. We went back there the following Sunday and it was about half full, we asked for a table for two, this was at 5 minutes to 7 in the evening and we were told the kitchen was closed with no explanation. This Sunday we'll be eating somewhere else.

I thoroughly enjoyed every scrumptious morsel of the Cornish sole surrounded by a perfect garlic sauce. It was amazing. Even the fish and chips (which my partner had, and of course I helped myself to some), was spot on. The cold pint of birra moretti beer went perfectly with the food.

We went here for the restaurant only, where we had steak meals. They were perfectly cooked with a great flavour. Service was excellent. Lovely wine and finished with cocktails. Nice room and table layout too.

Had some great meals here tonight. Battered cod was delicious. My wife had a tasty braised beef south African dish. Great service and attentive hosts. Highly recommended 👌

Busy, you must book in advance. An interesting menu with dishes I had never had before. Mainly South African. Tasty good quality food well presented. They also offered a cheese board, although it was a disappointing cheese selection. Friendly informal atmosphere.
