About us

The Woodbridge is a traditional Wiltshire coaching inn which dates back to 1786. A delightful mix of old and new and with a campsite that spans across acres of beautiful countryside with the River Avon running through it at the the bottom of the garden. The Woodbridge Inn can easily be reached by car, bus, cycle and even on foot for those seasoned ramblers. We’re located near many historical sites including the stone circle at Avebury, Stonehenge, the White Horse and many other places of interest. Local to it is the famous Roman Ridgeway, which offers extensive walks for those who enjoy the great outdoors.

Camped on site in my motorhome. Nice hot showers. Facilities to refill water tank and empty cassette toilet. Nice pub garden abd fog friendly. Lovely area but have to cross quite a busy junction to get to the bridle path to walk away from traffic. Lovely local fishing on the Avon. Reasonably priced camping and nice food available if your not cooking.

Most dog friendly pub I've ever been too. Lovely staff. Great food and beer. Good play area for the little ones also. Will visit again!

We have been here a few times. Really nice staff. My ASD daughter loves to just walk round and follow the dogs they have there. She is in her happy place with them. And she is really happy with the kids steak dinner. We must make a trip there in the evenings for the music.

We stayed 3 nights at the Woodbridge Inn campsite. Gorgeous riverside setting, great food, great ale, reasonable prices and friendly staff. The camping facilities are basic but immaculately clean, with toilets showers, plus a washing up station that includes a washing machine too. This is a well managed, well maintained, clean quiet & relaxing gem that's well worth a visit. We will definitely be coming back to use this campsite.
