A traditional family run pub serving great food and drinks. We offer a good selection of beers, wines and spirits along with a menu that uses quality local produce that reflects seasonal changes and we look forward to welcoming customers old and new to The Tipple.
There are two cosy log fires, one in the bar and also one in the restaurant along with a firepit in the garden bar area for those who still prefer to be outdoors.
We provide a safe environment for families and walkers and cyclists always receive a warm welcome.
We are friendly to friendly dogs and their owners of course but would remind them that leads are a must and no dogs in the restaurant.
We are lucky enough to have a huge carpark to the rear of the pub with an electrical hook-up for motorhome overnight stays. Please note: we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

Stopped off for lunch on the way past and glad we did! Lovely baguette & club sandwich made fresh and great value. The pub itself is lovely with a wonderful wood burner for winter. Landlord was lovely and friendly too, we'll certainly be back in future.
Beautiful pub, both drinking area and dining room, loads of parking. Landlord is very nice and the food is incredible, katsu curry is my go to every time. Definitely recommend for locals or anyone passing through
Great, relaxing pub with brilliant atmosphere and really good food. There is excellent parking in the back, a huge beer garden which is fabulous in the good weather and a smaller patio seating area if you want to be closer to the bar. They hold pool comps, quiz nights and are always welcoming to locals and visitors. We’ve always stopped off when driving through area and have never been disappointed.
We travelled over an hour to meet up with a dear friend. We ordered two fish and chips and a gammon meal. Had Prosecco and some other drinks. Also ended up meeting the locals and having a good chat. The three of us were greeted by the proprietor with warmth and nothing was a chore. Lovely venue. Will visit again.
Stopped on our journey for lunch as the Inn looked so welcoming. Service was great and staff very friendly and let us eat in with our dogs. Lunch was excellent with good size portions. Will stop again when next in the area
