I have been ten times so far and will always keep coming when I can. I really like this vegan restaurant. Probably my favourite one I’ve ever been too as vegan. Friendly staff and changing menus so there’s something different. Nice seating and music. I’d come every week if I could! I like being able to support a vegan business.
I was staying in Swindon for work and decided to make a trip (on my own) to eat at the Harp and Crown. Always feel a bit awkward going out for a meal on my own but the lady who served me (Genna?) was so friendly and understanding it really put me at ease. The food was fantastic; the seitan wings were some of the best seitan I've ever had, and the pumpkin crostini was just exceptional. Will definitely be returning as and when I'm back in Swindon for work, and maybe even when I'm not... That way I can take my wife (and dog)! 😊
I live in London currently which I'm sure you're aware has a hugeeeee range of vegan places to eat HOWEVER I will make a journey to come and eat here at any given opportunity!! The food is absolutely unmatched. I love that the menu changes, as it keeps everything fresh and seasonal and unique. It's absolutely immaculately presented with absolutely no loss to the flavour and substance. Fully loved every dish I have ever tried here. Highly recommend. The atmosphere itself is also beautiful and relaxing, homely but modern. The staff are always incredible too! Definitely do not miss a chance to come here.
The Sunday roast was great, tried the nut roast and seitan loaf version. The garden is lovely in the summer and it was also nice to sit outside, our dog was very happy napping on the chair next to us. The pub area feels cosey and the restaurant has lots of real plants and feels light and airy, the decor is lovely. Staff were friendly. The Eton mess was delicious. Can’t wait to visit again.
Absolutely loved it here! Went for my birthday (me being the only vegan) and my family of non vegans loved it too. Absolutely delicious food. Lovely wine and all very reasonably priced. Had starter, main and dessert. The hot chocolate menu looks delicious too. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend and will definitely return. Drove 40mins to get there, well worth the trip. If you think vegan food isn't tasty......go here!
