A cozy little pub in the high street. There is ample parking to the rear of the pub and a small beer garden. As with most old pubs, the configuration isn't intuitive. To access the toilets you must exit the rear of the property, into the beer garden and then into the toilets from there, potentially difficult for the elderly or drunken customer.
Went to a family event innthe function room upstairs, I tripped twice on the random step by the back door, I couldn't see any warning sign and almost fell while holding my baby. The smoking area is right outside the back door ( I assume as punters were smoking there) not ideal as you have to walk through the smoke to get to the car park. Other than that it's an OK place to go.
Had a great overnight stay in a large comfortable room above the pub. Our hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Would thoroughly recommend.
Quiet visit on a Monday. Piece of corshams history and always a friendly atmosphere. Worth a trip out the back to the secret garden of its sunny. Good selection of beers. No complaints!
On the Cask Marque AleTrail. Limited choice on this visit, but in acceptable condition nonetheless. Affable bar staff and plenty of history in the building, for whom these things matter. Worth more than one visit.
