Whether you’re popping in for a pint, or joining your mates to watch the sports, a warm welcome awaits at The William IV.

We have an impressively well-stocked bar. Choose from a fantastic selection of drinks - no matter what your tipple, there’ll be something for you; we serve smooth draught lagers, craft beers, ciders, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. Our range of cask ales is particularly good.

We provide our customers with free WiFi, free parking and disabled access. Plus, your four legged friends can join you as dogs are welcome at The William IV.

Really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The pub is far bigger than it looks on the outside and has everything you could really want - excellent selection of beer that is fairly priced, a pool table, dart board, games machine and jukebox, as well as lots of space. The landlord and landlady, Matt and Rebecca, are very accommodating and friendly and the staff provide excellent service with a smile!

I recently visited with friends and what an amazing experience. Customer service was friendly, the pub was clean and the drinks are cheap! Great atmosphere before heading into town. I spoke with the new Landlord & Lady Matt & Bec all about their plans in the future and i'm excited to see this pub really take off again! Brilliant! Thank you :)

Love this pub! Great local pub on your way into town. Only gave 4 on food as I've only eaten once, I think, and it was great. Provide sausage and/or bacon cobs on a race day and food prices are very good and service is always polite and friendly. Don't forget, it's the brewery who charge the prices, not the landlord Lee 😉
