I have recently started going to pubs especially since the world cup. Stumbled upon this one as me and my partner knew of it in passing but was presently surprised. The pub os large, offers a wide range of drinks and food (all of which are delicious). The atmosphere was very nice and friendly. The servers were very lovely and helpful. The pub has a very large space with screens all over the gaff so its easy to get a good seat. Would definitely go again and would also recommend if I was in the area
It's a nice pub with a good atmosphere. Well placed in central London near a lot of tubes and bus stops, but surprisingly reasonable prices considering the location. A good selection of beers, wines and spirits and they also offer food. The food is pretty good and there's even some vegan options which is usually never guaranteed.
Surprised that I got change from a fiver for a premium beer. Nice looking venue, air conditioned, smiley staff, cold beer. 2 minute walk from Old St. Station. Why wouldn't you?
A quick, cheap pint. Spacious. Air-conditioned. A lot of TVs on showing 'sport'. Friendly enough overall. Handy for the silicon roundabout of course, which is just a roundabout. Disappointing.
Was a favourite venue of mine, as it had good wine at a very reasonable price and pretty good food. Unfortunately, the food quality has declined dramatically in recent months, and they've pushed up the prices of both food and wine. Still OK for a quiet lunchtime drink but not so great for food. In particular, the fish and chips has gone from excellent to terrible.
