Bar staff are so friendly and so are the regulars, really make you feel welcome no matter who you are. Beer is great, atmosphere is awesome and a jukebox in the corner to put any tunes you want on. Can't recommend more
Tuesday 28th February 2023 This Gillingham great real ale pub is a must to visit when coming to Gillingham Great real ales looked after by landlord Great local following and also somewhere you feel happy amongst to have real ale before going to watch our team the mighty Bradford City play at Gillingham football club It was a pleasure to be in this pub. 5 stars have to be given. Well done all Friday 15th December 2023 Today, I again came for a drink in one of Gillinghams' real ale pubs. There were 3 real ales on all well kept by the landlord and bar staff There was a pub full of locals 95% good-natured but 5% of the locals when these people found out I was here for the football supporting the away team tomorrow. Bradford City was not of the nature of people I want to be with Patronising people, let's say Through these people, I will be losing this pub the 5 stars I gave it and lowering it to 4 All my website readers and followers I sincerely apologise to the pubs owners for this action
Awesome local pub. Friendly welcome and far-better-than-average selection of whisky. Great back story too around Will Adams, who’s tale is told via a pub-long freeze.
Very nice cider house, serving Old Rosie and various Lilly's offerings. Welcoming old-fashioned decor and no muzac. I'll be back next time I pass through Gillingham.
A truly excellent real ale house steeped in local history. A warm welcome awaits from a friendly and knowledgeable landlord. Perfect for traveling away fans following their team to Gillingham. Try the Jukebox too - the best in Kent?! Certainly worth a visit throughout the year. An absolute must.
