Fantastic pub with great food, lots of parking, and the friendliest staff. My friend and I headed here at the last minute after seeing it as top recommendation in Apple Maps (we came from out of town). We weren’t disappointed. It’s nice inside and the fish and chips were excellent. They’re fine with dogs, just make sure you ask where the dog area is! I stupidly left my iPad on the seat and didn’t realise till I got back to Newcastle. Thankfully, the staff were kind enough to post it back to me. Big thanks and would come again!

Food was great, two had starters as a main, two had a main each and a starter to share. Everything all at the same time. We had two bottles of wine. There was a band setting up "The Repeaters" they were good both vocally and instrumentally. There was a large party in the conservatory and the bar area was half full. Most of the customers only wanted to chat and didn't pay much attention to the band, which was a shame for them. Staff were really good and attentive.

Just popped in for a drink and the Robinson Shire horses were outside. Beautiful to see and really got a crowd in.

Had an evening out with our Mum, the food was fantastic. Black Pudding Scoth Egg 😍 Ribeye steak cooked Med/Rare perfectly. Would have got 5* but the coffee let it down, very weak double espresso tasted like water and the flat whites were warm milk. Attentive staff and great music from Griff. Would recommend you visit here if in the area 👍🏻
