i would just love to say how amazing the team are at their jobs especially when they are under pressure on a very busy saturday night. the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful with their live music. i felt very welcomed as soon as i entered. Duncan the manager is very good at making his customers feel like they are his friends. our first server was called Will and he was very sweet to us and also patient when my silly husband could not work out what he wanted to drink! 🙈 the live music is very well done and the setting is absolutely amazing. will be coming back !!!

Popped in for breakfast, best value breakfast around. Each different element had its own flavour. No blandness at all. Fresh tomatoes was an amazing touch. Really good pot of tea too. Staff were really attentive too. Highly recommend

I come here quite a bit on Sundays to see their live bands and have dinner. Today has been very disappointing as ordered the Sunday dinner and usually you get a nice bit of veg greens and carrots etc but today I got a couple of strips of carrots and some parsnips which were the same colour as my beef . It was very disappointing to Say the least and I felt it was to busy to really complain to much . Picture below . Not acceptable for a Sunday lunch . I will say the beef and pigs in blankets were nice but maybe put the veg on as that’s a cheap option to bulk the dinners out and for people to have their 5 a day .

I came here for an evening out on a Friday. Maybe a sign of the times, but it wasn't too busy. What was nice was the security guard was welcoming, there were a lot of servers available so there wasn't a long wait at all. The bar had a considerable selection available and multiple beers including some craft beers on tap. The prices were reasonable and a round came to about £16 for 3 people. Out back there was a covered area in the beer "garden", but mostly patio, where a live band set up shop. the only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me was the band was a little loud (literally only had to turn it down a bit) because it made conversation super difficult.
