
With its surviving original late Victorian four roomed interior of public bar, and select room at the front plus tap room and lounge at the back all off a central corridor.
It is one of only four pubs in the Gateshead council area to be included in CAMRA's Pub Interiors of Special Historic Interest booklet for the North East. Also note the boarded ceilings, etched glass door windows, and old photographs of the pub. A must visit for all those interested in pub architecture. Leek club, Play-Your-Cards-Right, darts, and pool.
