The White Rose, a local favourite since 1856, offers a warm and friendly welcome from the heart of Mumbles fishing village.

We're a real home-from-home, serving up hearty, traditional pub-food every day, including seasonal specials, an extensive fish menu and plenty of choice for children. On the bar you'll find a good range of Cask Marque accredited real ales, lagers and ciders on tap, together with continental bottled beers and much more - all perfect after a stroll along the prom from the pier, or visit to nearby Oystermouth Castle. We're very much a community pub with lots going on throughout the week, from Sky Sports on the box to regular quiz, poker and live music nights.

Went for a family meal, had a fantastic experience, great food and even better service, Georgie on the bar was more than helpful and a great laugh, best experience ever!

Had a really lovely meal and got served by the loveliest bartender named Georgie, always had a smile on her face and recommend some amazing drinks to me! Will be back again!

On this visit I decided to try an alternative to the Chicken Tika Masala Curry, which I had tried before and enjoyed. I wanted a little non-meat detox and therefore sampled the vegetarian/ vegan Curry on the menu. But, found it most disappointing. It was the same price, but consisted of little more than a few beans in a tasteless bean ‘soup,’ which included no non-meat alternatives. Nothing like the excellent vegetarian/ vegan foods I had enjoyed at other venues, which were also much better value. It’s back to their excellent Fish and Chips next time.

We were in a group of 8 adults celebrating on News Years Day, The food some had steak , others had curry and steak and ale pie and some had deserts , We all thoroughly enjoyed the food , drinks and the inside of the White Rose, The Staff were ever so friendly and helpful, Would highly recommend.

Prices were relatively cheap, especially for Mumbles, so was expecting not the best quality food. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was actually really quite good. Had the notorious P.I.G. burger, and I must say it was damn good. Chips too. This place has gotta be a 9/10 for good food at good value for money
