Having the Dorset/Somerset borderline running through the pub has made our selections so much easier but also so much broader, with ales and ciders going head to head you decide whether its a Dorset or Somerset tipple that wins your vote.
However it doesn’t stop there, juices from Somerset, gin and vodka from Dorset the perfect blend of two counties come together very easily as one…..and vodka made from milk…..yes cow’s milk, so in fact it’s healthy too!
Whether it’s a classic pub lunch or a delicious 10 course meal you fancy, we have created the perfect menus using only the finest local ingredients and suppliers.
One highlight, and much talked feature of ours is the Sunday Lunch. With 5 or 6 meats on the board you don’t get to choose….you get the lot, along with Yorkshire Puddings, vegetables and dripping cooked potatoes.
Since opening the doors in early 2014 we have been awarded Taste of the West Gold and become listed in the Michelin Guide as well as being Finalists in numerous Regional awards.
