
A coaching inn that has delivered hospitality to weary travellers since the 15th century, the Grade II listed White Lodge reopened in 2016 after a careful (and much needed) renovation programme.
The Pub and Restaurant is managed by David Bear, who worked in The Cellar House in Eaton for several years, leading their award-winning Bar Team.
David is supported by his excellent team of front of house staff, including Kat, Kayleigh and Scott.
Chef Shaun Kent (formerly at The Bird in Hand, Wreningham) heads up the kitchen team, which includes brothers Daniel & Kieran Forde, who are supported by Gregg, Grahame, Douglas and Annabel.
The White Lodge is proud to be welcoming to all-comers, including families with children and well-behaved dogs. We welcome larger dining groups and are happy to discuss hire for functions and celebrations.
We have an outside terrace and a large beer garden for al fresco drinking or dining on warmer days.
Ample free parking is available.
