
Lee and Debbie are chef proprietors of The White Lion and they have both been in the catering trade for over 30 years. Lee started his career at The Royal Angus Hotel in Birmingham and went on to become second chef at The Tidesreach Hotel in Salcombe, Devon. Since then, they have lived and worked together in a number of places across the British Isles including Guernsey and the Isle of Mull.
They joined the kitchen team of the then newly built Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Stadium, and Lee opened and ran the Sir Jacks restaurant.
The White Lion is their first business venture together and their reputation as chefs is growing throughout the surrounding areas. All the meals on the menu at The White Lion are homemade and where possible prepared with local produce.
Lee and Debbie invite you to the White Lion in Whittington, Shropshire. The picturesque village of Whittington is steeped in history with its medieval castle and timber-framed buildings. With fantastic views of the castle and its moat, the White Lion is nestled in the perfect setting.
