Fabulous meal here this evening and a great menu . Atmosphere and decor A*. Dog friendly too.
Nice family run village pub. Food was good. Prices sensible. Wines by the bottle plus beers obviously. Walking distance from North Kilworth Marina. Just visited again and our meal was even better. Home made pies are fabulous!
We had a Sunday lunch for 4 today. I must say I did enjoy the vegetarian option of the mushroom Wellington! The others had chicken roast. Service was very attentive and all the staff were super friendly. We all liked the old feel of the pub. It's clean and well presented. We are coming back on Thursday for the early bird menu.
Another one of our random pick of places to go too for our Sunday meal and glad we did, Service was good and the food was exceptional with plenty of it and speedy coming out. We will certainly will be coming here again in the future.
Popped out for a bite to eat, went for the lioness burger. As you can see the sausage was very well done and the patties were quite dry. I know some people like their burgers like this but it wasn't to my liking. The chips were standard frozen chips deep fried, hand cut chips would make this meal so much better. Had to ask to have our order taken, when our server came she was pleasant and knowledgeable.
