Brilliant friendly pub.dog friendly. Log fire and a good selection of fine ales.love this pub.brilliant bar staff and overall a fantastic pub to spend time in.

Only popped in for a very quick drink, but pub was clean, great atmosphere and lovely friendly staff.

Went in after a long hike in the local area, I cant comment on the food as i never ate there but my drinks were served to me by an extremely polite young lady called Vikki, what an absolutely charming young lady and a credit to the venue.

The pub has had a good makeover since I last visited, pre covid. Fresh bright wall paper, new carpets and lots if pictures, mainly of French Bulldogs wearing tiaras for some reason, and fancy quirky ornaments, including French Bulldogs, all of which you can buy. Whilst there the local French Bulldog walking group all met outside, I've never seen as many Frenchies in one place before, guess there's some connection to the pub and Frenchies, I'm guessing tge owner lives them.
