The pirate ship in the garden has been removed. Garden looks very sad and the main draw of the pub is sadly gone. Won't be returning.
Under new ownership since October 2022. We moved into village after this, but credit part of our move here to this pub and its landlords. Lovely atmosphere, warm and friendly. Dogs and children are much loved there too. Currently no kitchen (apparently will be in November), but most Fri or Saturdays they have different food vans. Such a lovely family friendly place to be. On top of this, ale and Guinness is on point
Loved it! Good vibe, nice people, amazing fireplace 🤩 Our dog got some treats from someone so he will probably drag us there on a regular basis 🤣
The main attraction for us was the pirate ship in the garden to keep our 4yo entertained. He liked running around it, although it could do with a clean - covered in bird poo and spider webs! The bar itself is nothing special but it's ok.
