Excellent food and great service. Staff were really attentive and friendly. Only disappointing thing, is there is no baby changing facilities. So the only option is to change an infant in the middle of the restaurant, in front of everyone. The pub offers high chairs, but oddly no baby change.

Do not use this place. The rooms are dirty. The Landlady is rude and has fraudulently taken for an additional 5 nights when I already paid for the 2 nights I stopped. Was staying for work so needed to be away early, so they did not do me any breakfast as they don't start till 7.30 and would not even give a small discount. The bathroom was dirty and the shelves falling off the wall. Even the regulars took the fun as I was in the disabled room that was horrible. They had no hangers in the wardrobe and don't supply them. The quilt was not long enough to cover my feet and I'm not even tall. The barmen even run the Landlady down and now I am out of pocket by £450 because they have ripped me off. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Absolutely brilliant place. What a gem. We booked a table for four for Christmas Eve lunchtime. They were very accommodating when I called to book, and the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. We thought the food was really great - generous portions, competitively priced, and excellent beer to complete the experience. I wish we lived closer! We’ll be back. Highly recommend.

Called this morning to book for Sunday lunch, meeting up with family. Extremely busy place, lovely food, lots on the menu, very accommodating, friendly staff, definitely recommend. Thanks Carl

We love it here and have been meaning to drop back in. Staff are super friendly and the food is lovely with a good menu. We enjoy sitting both inside & outside in the garden. We popped in last minute a while back when they were very busy and they went above & beyond to find us a table. A really great local for us.
