You cannot beat the white Heather for value you may need your dressing gown and slippers once you get back home as you will be stuffed. Beautiful scrumptious food. I recommend it all on the Sunday menu. Staff warm and friendly. Been going here for years but not since covid I plan to return regularly.
Food-Amazing value for money. Very large amount of simple, homemade food. Delicious and wide range of desserts. Fast service. Not a fancy place or somewhere with a diverse menu but def my favourite place to eat due to the quality and value for money. Wednesdays particularly good
Recently stayed here the night before my sisters wedding day. Dave & staff could not have been more accommodating for us! The rooms were lovely and very spacious for the amount of stuff we had brought for the morning of the wedding. My sister had a wedding party of about 15 of us so Dave even let us have full use of the restaurant on the morning to allow us for hair and make up which couldn't of been more amazing. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and they all made us feel so welcome! Would 10/10 recommend!
A perfect place to stay with the unique aspect of being on the Kirkbride Airfield. You can park the aeroplane right outside the main entrance! The owner was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Honest accommodation with everything you need for a good night’s sleep.
