Struggling to add a second review so I’ll just edit this one! Sunday roast was not just awesome, it was a totally different experience and one I shall not forget in a hurry! Seriously, you have to try it! True chef and superb service, albeit it was a quiet Sunday. Definitely highly recommended and such generous portions and fair prices. Fish n chips last week was equally awesome! Spread the word as we want these talented dedicated people to survive and prosper 😆👌😜
We went to support a local business on their reopening night but will not be returning. I can understand that there would be a few teething problems on the first night but unfortunately we sent our starters back as they were cold.The mains came out Luke warm and pretty tasteless. The soft drinks from the pump were flat, when we mentioned it we were told it was new gas so should be fine after the drinks were replaced from the same pump they were still flat and the lady/manager didn't believe us. We asked her to try it which she did then realised we were telling the truth and it was indeed flat. We were offered another drink so we went for a latte as they had a coffee machine...turns out they didn't know how to use it and a glass of hot milk (no coffee taste at all) was brought from the kitchen. There was barely any staff, we were left with plates on our table for a long time. All they kept saying was that they were fully booked, people were left waiting for a long time without food. Two other tables left as the service wasn't happening. This could be such a lovely pub/restaurant but the new owners really need to be more organised, check on their customers and serve hot food.
We’re so happy that The White Hart has reopened. We had a lovely meal here - really good food, lovely friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Wishing the new owners all the best and we’re looking forward to our next visit!
Very friendly host, rooms clean and well stocked, mini fridge included. Well finished throughout, although the latch on the window needs attention as the holes don't line up to hold it open. Hot tub really elevated our experience! Extra towels supplied for hot tub. Very comfortable bed. We commented that we wished we were staying more than one night! We plan to return in the future.
First time we had our lovely diner in The White Hart Inn, Cornwall. We like this place, valued of money, food looks good and yummy. The service are quick and friendly host. Although they're quite busy but the service are very attentive. Best recommended and will come back again
