About us

We are not a large corporation. The Coles family are made up of 7 members. This all started in 1994, when the Coles family purchased the White Hart, Marcus and daughter Jessica are the chefs, they prepare and cook all your delicious meals. Annabelle and Angelica are the waitresses, they serve you and prepare all our puddings for you to enjoy. Cain, he’s the barman who greets you when you walk in. He is also the head brewer behind all our great ales. Tallulah, well she’s the youngest member of the family so she just loves to help and involve herself wherever she can. As a family we take pride in what we do. We use the finest ingredients to produce the best products. Cain and Marcus are the head distillers, so they are in charge of the perfect spirit coming off the still, then it is a family effort to bottle and taste test all our products. We hope to see you soon.

Have visited this Public House at least three times and never had a complaint. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The food is delicious absolutely delicious so I think a visit is something not to be missed. Prices are reasonable for the quality you receive. Do yourself a favour call in and see if you agree with my review. Oh and the Mulled Wine certainly gave a glow on a dismal day.

Beautiful looking stone country pub, with a lovely eclectic but quite Welsh inside. Staff very pleasant and lots of seating. Food was pretty good considering the size of the menu, where I'd imagine it might be difficult to cook from fresh. So depends on your own personal preference. But we did find there was quite a bit of waste and next time would probably order a main meal between us.

We stopped in on our way home from saundersfoot for some food. I've been here many times with my wife and with the R.A.T.S real ale tasting society. Today, I enjoyed a 20 oz white heart own cut steak. Absolutely perfectly cooked (medium), it was huge. My wife had the steak and ale pie, and my son had whisky chicken his partner had the hunter's chicken burger. The grandkids one had a pizza. The other had pasta bake with cheese. All portions were nice and large, making it a brilliant value for money. They brew their own beer and ciders here in their family run brewery (coles brewery) they also make their own gin, whisky, vodka, and rum, which they distil themselves on site. All produce is available to buy. If you're ever at a loose end and fancy a beautiful meal in a very welcoming family run pub. This is the perfect location. If you're looking to pick up Christmas or birthday alcohol I highly recommend you come and experience the massive variety of drinks they have to offer. Thank you for another beautiful meal Hopefully see you soon

Wow, what an amazing place. Full of history, the place is like a museum. The staff are welcoming, there's a brewery on site and the choice on the menu is unbelievable! We had the farmers special, which consisted of a rump steak, chicken fillet, pork steak, sausage, a rack of ribs plus all the sides. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portion size was huge! Loved it and will return again very soon.

Love this pub ! First of all, the decor there was very interesting and all items with Welsh history. There's a welcoming atmosphere and the staff are very polite and friendly. The food was DELICIOUS! A little on the expensive side, but the massive portions definitely made up for that! - We ordered two sides of chips and could have done with ordering half a bowl ! (haha). Very much recommend this family-run pub to anyone with a huge appetite and appreciation of Welsh history and culture!
