Got married here just before Christmas. The venue is beautiful. The day was fantastic and our wedding coordinator Katy was an absolute star. I couldn’t recommend this place more.
Excellent food and setting. We booked a table for a meal with friends and we were pleasantly surprised to learn that both the a la carte and bar menu were being served in the restaurant with gave everyone something to choose that they would enjoy. The drinks were also great and service was brilliant. My only slight criticism was that the drinks took a long time to arrive but, we did order a fancy cocktail. We were also told that the cocktails were on a 2-4-1 however it wasn’t made clear that this did not apply to the day we were dining. Would definitely return and recommend to others.
Timely responses via email which dwindled off. Called and got us booked in no problems, pay on arrival. Price included breakfast for two. The place has clearly had a significant investment and is very well done up; fully restored countryside “farmhouse charm” with solid wood frame bed, table, and chairs in the room. Very well restored restaurant, fork and furrow, which had the same chunky but charming wood tables and chairs, but with a modern twist. Can tell the bar is a little tired, but everything else was so lovely it almost didn’t matter. I had ordered a two for one from their cocktail club menu. Unfortunately was far too sweet, like drinking cordial, but we went 50/50 on it so that was okay. Would return.
Very impressed. Country location is beautiful. Recently refurbished and looks very upmarket. Comfy room. Electric car charges available at a cost. Fork and Farrow restaurant was fabulous. Unique and high quality dishes at a good value price. One of the best meals we've had in ages. Don't miss it.
We had our amazing wedding at the White Hart in July this year. The breakfast for myself and my bridesmaids was amazing, Emma was fantastic in keeping me calm and making sure the day ran so smoothly. All of the guests enjoyed the lawn games and bouncy castle, even with a bit of rain! The food was absolutely amazing and everyone was very pleased. The entire day was more than we could have ever imagined at this beautiful venue. Thank you to all the wedding staff and staff that worked 15.7.23 we had the best time xxx
