Not been out for a meal since 2013 but made the effort and May I say it was well worth it, beautiful food and friendly staff. Will definitely return and highly recommend the gammon

This place needs to replace their chef period. Meal was an absolute disgrace, gammon and chips soaked in fat, cold peas, starter, pork belly bites saturated in fat, uncooked and unseeded chilli's, half the chips went on the table when meal was brought to the table. This was a bad choice of venue on my part. It won't happen again. It's interesting to note that good reviews get a reply from the owner, but bad reviews get no response. Now that tells you a lot about the philosophy and culture of the owner of the White Hart.
Went for a meal with family members tonight....have been before and was lovely.....but after tonight I don't think we'll be returning, i told my daughter we'll go to the white hart as previously when going there it was nice food etc but this time.... only having a selected menu and it was a bit disappointing.....ordered starters sourdough garlic bread (on menu says 3 slices)....the guy came with 2 slices.....he did bring another slice out.....the main meals were disappointing....the chicken burger just in a brioche bun (had to ask for salad as it was dry)....chips were nice. My daughter asked for cookie dough for dessert but couldn't eat that when it came it tasted burnt....they did offer to bring another one but we declined. We asked for a glass of water at the end but that never arrived. My husbands scampi was overdone. Prices were wrong at the end of the night menu compared to what was on the receipt....the guy did sort them out at the end ...and he was a nice guy but overall was very disappointed in our meal.
What amazing night we had thank you, we were in the lovely barn for my friend's 60th birthday at the side it was great from food to excellent customer service thank you we will all be back 🎶🍾🥂🎂🎊🥳🎉
