The white hart is a great venue at the heart of Buckingham. Located on the main road surrounded by other venues and eatery’s. We chose to drink and diner here and overall we wasn’t disappointed. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are great, the music is good and they have a selection of indoor games and activities such as Pool, Darts, Shuffle Board and Slot machines. They also show live sports on several screens throughout the venue. When dining here we decided to order the Camembert Cheese and Garlic Focaccia starter which was generally nice although it wasn’t really garlic flavoured or focciaca more like a sourdough bread but still, very nice The for the mains we had the Minted lamb shank with veg and chips which was really really tasty and I highly recommend, we also ordered the Sirloin steak with beef dripping (as they had no pepper corn sauce) and also added the Salt & pepper squid toppings. The squid was very undercooked (sadly) and had no salt or pepper seasoning on them at all, which was a let down but other than that it was a great meal and a great experience.

Room was right next to the kitchen extraction. Very noisy. Tv lost reception constantly. Decor is very outdated. Windows are of very poor quality. They don't open properly nor do they keep the cold out. Overall the accommodation is awful. Didn't use the bar so no comment, what staff I did talk too were pleasant.

We came in on Thursday for dinner. I really liked the different themed rooms, darts and pool available I'm sure its great to watch sports here. Unfortunately not a 5 because the lasagne wasn't very nice the break that came with it on the other hand was lovely. However the staff were all nice and there wasn't too long to wait. My son enjoyed his steak and I enjoyed my gammon and eggs.

I spent £110 for one night and the room was damp.. covers were damp, walls were damp, floor could have been hovered, windows don’t open? Overall the staff are friendly and quick to serve! Just don’t waste your money staying here

Lovely pub with well priced and good quality food. The service we had was brilliant. Very attentative and couldn't help enough. It could do with a little bit of money spent on rectifying the broken and tatty furniture but other than that a lovely pub we go back to every year.
