About us

The White Hart re-opened back in April of 2015 and have since undertaken a major overhaul and renovation bringing the business back to life with new décor & furnishings, extensive work including refurbishment of the Bar and function room (JJ'S 1737) and bed and breakfast bringing it back to its original coaching house status in keeping with its history in the well known market town of Thorne. We are open 7 days a week offering food between 10am and 6pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday and all day for food (10 til 6pm) and we look forward to serving you.

As a free house we offer a wide range of ales, premium larger, wines and spirits direct from all the major breweries, served by a family orientated team with many years of experience within the hospitality industry.

We now offer a brand new menu from our catering team, all food freshly prepared and home made. Our Sunday carvery is second to non, offering a wide range of meats and fresh vegetables.

The pub is an ideal venue for family and office parties as we boast one of the best function rooms in town.

The best dinners around. Under 5's eat free. All fresh veg and homemade Yorkshire puddings.

Called in day before for a breakfast which was good. Decided to give there Carvery a go. Phoned to book in, very busy, which is always a good sign. Choice of 3 meats from 5 and plenty of veg. Well impressed when the plates were taken to your table and gravy served separately. Most people left with take away box.

We we're going out for lunch with friends. We had a table booked for 1:30. Had a quick drink in the pub, then went in for 1:25. Had to wait a while to seated, not a problem. By the time we were "allowed" to go up to the CARVERY, it was 2:20!!!! Then the dinner was luke warm. I know covid hit every place hard, but this place really went downhill. It's such a shame....😔

Me and my sister went there today as it had been recommended to me unfortunately it wasn't good. The veg was cold, the meat was cold, the gravy was hot and the Yorkshire pudding was soggy on the inside and burnt on the outside. The place was lovely and clean and the staff were very helpful. Shame about the food
