Great service from staff had to book a table for food nice atmosphere not rowdy. Waiter with the ginger hair who brought our meals out couldn't have been more helpful. Was going to try the mixed grill but think it would beat me 😂 so settled for ultimate burger which was delicious will be going back fora date night with wife again Cheers guys
We come to this pub at least once a month and it’s lovely! They are very nice and attentive, especially that I have a gluten allergy. Always a lovely meal and they always make adjustments to make sure my meal is right and doesn’t contain gluten. Thank you so much 💕 Also special thanks to our servers James, Caitlan and Imogen as well as our chefs Gary and Joe.
Six of us ate there this week, two of us were disappointed. Both had steaks, I left most of mine as it was full of fat, the other was more like rare than medium cooked as requested. I was really disappointed as we ate there a few weeks previously for the first time and enjoyed our food. I will be hesitant to eat there again which is a shame as I thought the atmosphere in the pub was very good.
Good selection on the new menu & the visit was made even better with the 50% offer. Meals were very good, however there were some items missing - although we didn't mention it at the time. The mixed grill came with a miniscule piece of gammon & half an over done mushroom. The feather blade of beef was missing the roasted root vegetable. Not a big issue as there was plenty to eat, however attention to detail could be bit better.
Came here recently with an old friend for some lunch. We were not disappointed! She had a blue light card and was able to get 10% off our bill. The place was not busy at all and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. We shared the calamari and nachos for starters which was all lovely. I had the bacon and mushroom pasta for lunch which was delicious and I would definitely recommend, my friend had the steak sandwich which she also enjoyed but was abit dry. Delicious cocktails and some of the cheapest I’ve seen in the area. I will definitely be returning to try more of the menu !
