Very good curry night on Thursdays. Good service, especially for my friend who is mildly retarded and his husband who was squealing like a pig. A good time throughout. Really good quality balti dishes and crockery in general.
The staff looked under age which is great as they didn't Id me. I managed to find mistletoe and had a rate good snog but they this fella with white lightening objected shouting "hands off my lady friend". A conversation began but luckily the youthful staff asked him to leave as the cider was too high quality for the establishment. I finished the evening in the Johns. Best night ever .
Super 'Spoons next to the river with a public car park next to it. Great value as ever. Large choice of ales at £2:55 a pint. 5 star rating reflects the value and Wetherspoon values, with clean toilets and fast service.
This is a nice and friendly place with very reasonable prices. The outdoor seating area is well laid out and spacious making it a lovely place to sit in the sunshine. The food was good quality and I would certainly go there again next time I'm in the area.
Lovely pub. Meal was great, fast service. Helpful and friendly staff. Very large seating area's. Outside seating also available. Pay and display carpark to rear of the pub.
