We are a micropub decked out in a nautical theme that opened in March 2013. We serve beers direct from the cask. and have extended hours for the weekend. Bosun's Best Bitter brewed specifically for this Alehouse, available nowhere else.

Fantastic beer place and we had the unlimited cheese. Fabulous selection and so generous. Brilliant service and the room upstairs was perfect for our noisy family group.

Excellent selection of Kent's best ciders. Homey atmosphere. Very excellent staff, especially Lauren who's probably responsible for the huge success of this bar.
Great micro pub with a huge selection of IPAs ciders and ales, plus gins, and also cider or gin sliders (three halves). Very dog friendly, very welcoming and very chatty even if your not a local. Complementary dog biscuits too. If your outside blankets are available to keep you warm too.
