Lovely pub and hotel. Decent breakfast at reasonable price
Fantastic pub stay to base yourself for trips around that neck of the woods. Did day trips to Bath, Stonehenge, Dorchester and Weymouth easily. Staff and food were great.
We booked 10 rooms for family and friends for our wedding and they were all thrilled with the rooms and breakfast. All the team in the hotel and restaurant were so kind and attentive - thank you to you all.
A country pub with lovely interior design downstairs & a very cosy atmosphere. Breakfast choice was excellent & staff were pleasant and helpful at breakfast .. Which ended 9am mid wk unfortunately. A bit too early when trying to relax on holiday. Room was clean & warm, a spacious comfortable bed therefore we had a very good night rest. Only downside was we had 2 steps up to the bathroom and our bedroom view was dreadful, not my ideal view for a country pub. (Rm 24) Disappointing room as we had booked over 8 wks ago and I don't think the hotel was fully booked. No room in resturant for an evening meal so we had to drive out to another country pub!
Lovely place to stay. Staff in hotel and restaurant were so friendly even when we arrived late. Best meal I have had for a long time.
