We went for Sunday lunch with 3 infants and they were more than accommodating, putting us in a private room so we could relax. The food was absolutely wonderful as well!

We visited for an over night stay and a team meal in their private dining room for the New Year. Great location with very comfortable rooms in a beautiful village. Really fantastic food great seasonal choices exceptional steaks. Pub and restaurant great food and service top class. Thanks a million Wheatsheaf Inn and Mark well done.

We stayed 2 nights during New Year’s Eve which cost us more than 500 £ We were overall happy with the room. The bedding was comfortable and the bath room was beautiful. But for us it’s not a 5 star hotel as mentioned on google. The whole experience during our stay wasn’t that satisfying. When we arrived, the staff was cold and there was zero welcoming. No smile. They didn’t explain anything about the hotel but the breakfast hours, and asked to make a credit card deposit. We had dinner the day of New Year’s Eve. We came into the dinning area nobody came to great us. The next day morning when we came down for breakfast, we weren’t greeted with a happy new year either. And they charge 12,5% service fee for the restaurant even for hotel guests which is fine for us but we would expect at least a minimum of service and warmer hospitality.

Didn't stay in the rooms just dropped in for lunch. The food was really nice but I must say it was very overpriced. And not as filling as you would expect. The service was slow but staff were polite. There are better places to eat in the cotswolds I assure you. And not to be told about the service charge is a joke as it should be stated on arrival. Always keep an eye on that. We heard a few disgruntled people talking about it. Overall disappointing really.

We had a wonderful stay at The Wheatsheaf Inn. We were upgraded for our anniversary and the room was beautiful. We had dinner at the hotel too and we really enjoyed the food and the service throughout the stay was excellent. The host in particular was wonderfully welcoming and helped to make our stay as special as it was. We would definitely recommend the Wheatsheaf and we hope to return soon.
