There was no organisation serving food. After turbines was placed on each table they came round with plates of meat. We was the last to get gammon all rhe time the half cooked veg was getting cold. I complained and was told the urine was still warm. That was because the urine was still full of half cooked veg. Very disappointed for a Christmas dinner. The starter and desert was good.
Went for Sunday lunch. Food was cold, roast potatoes so hard, actually broke a tooth. Mashed potatoes were lumpy. Did not bother with either a starter or dessert so cannot comment on the quality of those.
Cash only payments. We had Sunday lunch. It was a set menu. Three courses. We had Yorkshire puddings to start. The Yorkshire pudding was very dry as if it had been cooked earlier on in the day and left standing. There was mushrooms in the gravy. Choices of beef, pork and gammon. They had run out of pork. The beef was tasty. Vegetables were peas, carrots, parsnips, cauliflower cheese and cabbage. With mashed potatoes and a roast potato. We had jam and coconut sponge for dessert. There was no coconut in the sponge. Just a sprinkle of coconut on top of the cake.
Amazing Sunday dinner 3 courses for £15 and everything was very tasty and well cooked. It was like Christmas day with all of the vegetables. Excellent service and welcome too. We will definitely return thanks
