Went tonight with family. Absolutely top drawer from start to finish. The most attentive and thoughtful staff I've experienced for some time. So friendly and warm as well. The food was delicious and the option to have 2 courses for such a reasonable price is fantastic, given the cost of everything at the minute. Genuinely will be returning soon. Very very very good, highly recommend! 👌
Came for Sunday lunch, did not book but was happily welcomed even though the restaurant was very busy. We was taken to the table by the manager was explained there was a wait on food. Which was good to know. The waitress was very polite and working very hard. Only down fall was the Yorkshire pudding was over cooked. Atmosphere amazing there was an event on at the front of the restaurant who looked to be having a great time. It good to know you accommodated such large booking. Will be returning
A friend and I visited for Sunday lunch. The food and drinks were really nice. The beef and veg were tasty and nicely cooked. My only criticisms would be that I'd like a bit more gravy and the Yorkshire pudding was a bit too well done for me. I had ice cream for dessert which was delicious. A real positive was that the person who served us was really lovely - very friendly, personable and attentive.
Excellent family meal for 16, food was great and the service was second to none. We were made to feel very welcome. The staff were friendly and attentive, made our annual get together a great afternoon. Thank you very much, we will be back.
Booked a table on a Saturday afternoon. All ways been very happy here in the past both with food and service. (The previous guys that had it running like clock work have either left or not on shift). Anyway, the food was lovely, but the service (by the manageress) left a lot to be desired. Ordered drinks at the bar (great selection)and we were shown to our table, but after around twenty minutes, I had to find the manageress to take our food order. She was joking around with a guy at the bar. (Could understand if busy but it was very quiet.) There was a table that hadn't been cleared the whole time we were there. The younger members of staff were great! When the bill came she'd overcharged for a glass of wine. It was rectified straight away. On this occasion the professionalism that we've been used to, in the past, just wasn't there. Rather dissapointing. Hopefully it was a one off.
