Fabulous Sunday Lunch, perfect portion size. Great service. Only thing that stopped it being a 5 was very undercooked vegetables. I like them still firm but they were bordering on not cooked.
Booked a table for 8 Arrived Woman was very rude and awkward to talk to. Building was freezing had to eat with coats on. All drinks were 80% water very very flat Pint glasses were all different sizes Food was not worth the cost Lemonade Not fizzy tasted of water Pepsi Don’t even sell coke Just watery Pepsi Plenty of room for improvement The 4.4 star is not true Just a family run buisness with all locals giving 5 stars cause they know them
The Kaye Arms is a great dining experience. Food is cooked fresh so expect a bit of a wait, but it is well worth it. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and there is ample car parking space.
Average pub food, not too expensive if you go for the set menu. I choose the sirloin beef meal too many potatoes and sloppy leeks on the plate but beef was enjoyable. Wasn't keen on the starter and dessert I chose, queen scallops and salted chocolate tart. Service was very slow only one young woman taking and serving food orders.
Had a lovely lunch, we were greeted with a smile and staff were happy to help us, nothing was too much trouble. The food was wonderful, the chicken satay was out of this world! Then the fish and chips for main, massive and full of flavour! Would have liked to see homemade tartar sauce… but never mind! The exquisite fish made up for it!
