Northern Soul night. 1st Friday each month. Great DJ's great atmosphere. Cheap drinks. Bar open till 11:30. Brilliant atmosphere.
Typical working mens club. Staff are friendly. Only used the back room which has a lively wooden dance floor. Drunk prices are cheap, exactly what you'd expect at a working man's club.
Coming from the south I was amazed at the prices for a white wine spritzer 3 soda an limes and a pint of T etley bitter , was cheaper than 4 coffees at a service station. Decor and seating great staff pleasant . Downside i was there for a wake.
Visited for a Christmas party in the function room,clean indeed,and seems to be well maintained and run. Had a great function room with plenty of seating and a performance stage,bars are well appointed and stocked. The staff are friendly with good local knowledge. Sound quality on the PA system was great,making for great clarity on the disco. The decor is a little outdated,but still in a tidy state. There is plenty of parking around the sides and at the rear of the building,but be careful,it works on a one way system,can cause problems on a busy function night with new visitors. To conclude,well run pleasant working men's club perfect for small to medium sized functions - recommended.
Crigglestone is a fantastic club with many great features and a great entertainment stage with a great local crowd. If you live near by join this club as it is well worth your time to have a great night out
