Had a lovely lunch. Good value for money. Thank you. However My experience was then spoiled by another customer of yours (an inconsiderate driver) in a white Range Rover Evoque who decided they couldn't be bothered to park properly so parked across my space & very close to my car and they opened their driver door on my passenger door leaving a white paint mark along with a scuff mark on my car door.
Really enjoyed the sharing platter with my friend, whilst on a trip for business purposes. Clean, friendly, good food, and reasonably priced. My only feedback was that it felt a bit soulless because its a big restaurant and they didn't play any music. I feel this place needed some easy listening music in the background to make it more welcoming. Other than that, great 👍
Was not told about no roast or parsnips as sold out. when It arrived dinner drowning in gravy meat tough as old boot potatoes hard not cooked properly still wanted to charge customer the same price with missing items. Worse egos I’ve ever been never coming back
Always book here when we have a family birthday and they didn't disappoint last night either. It was my daughter's 21st there was 17 of us and it was amazing as always. Leah looked after us as she has a few times and she's so accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. She's a credit to Ego. Thankyou so much for having us again. The food was amazing too x
Very delicious food. Portions of food on a smaller side, so you can easily fit in a starter and a dessert. Prices a bit high especially for the size of the meal, but the way it tastes makes it worth it. Really tasty food. Waiter service very good in general. Place was clean so I need to be fair and give some stars for this. What was very disappointing though after we booked a table (and booking was for 2h 15 min I believe) they just brought us a bill to the table and asked how we’re paying. And we were still ordering things (so already spent a small fortune there) and planning on ordering more and we were behaving pretty quietly, dresses properly too etc so can’t see the reason for why we were treated as if they wanted us to just leave. If the restaurant was full and table needed then fair enough, but MOST of tables were empty and it was still a couple of hours before they were closing, so absolutely no reason for that. I will see if I come back cos food was worth the money but this whole bringing us a bill felt rude and ruined the experience a lot. Never had that in any other restaurant ever and I would feel a bit weird spending any more money at a place that finds treating customers like as something okay to do. But as they were not bothered about us spending any more money there in the first place I guess us not coming back doesn’t make a difference to them.
