Food was excellent.The lads loved their extra large upgrade plate, we used a Voucher code and we were in and out quickly before the football started. Chef brought fresh Gammon out immediately when it ran out.Loads of veg choices. Our waitress, Kath, made our evening as she is SO friendly, cheerful and helpful and makes you feel happy.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the level of service we experienced during our recent visit to your establishment for a carvery. Unfortunately, our overall impression was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to bring these matters to your attention. Firstly, the extended wait time for the carvery was utterly unacceptable, especially considering that there was no one else waiting to be served. The unnecessary delay caused significant inconvenience and left us feeling frustrated. We believe that efficient service should be a fundamental aspect of any establishment, and this aspect clearly fell short during our visit. Furthermore, we were dismayed by the behavior of the chef who, on several occasions, emerged from the kitchen and handled items without acknowledging our presence. This lack of basic courtesy left us feeling undervalued as customers. It is important for staff members to recognize the importance of maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere, even during busy periods. Lastly, we found the quality of food available for selection to be rather inadequate. The dishes appeared to have been cooked from frozen, resulting in a bland and unappetizing taste. Additionally, the food was served lukewarm, failing to meet basic culinary expectations. As customers, we believe that the freshness and quality of the food served should be of paramount importance to maintain a positive dining experience. It is disheartening to share these concerns, as we had hoped for a pleasant visit to your establishment. However, based on our recent experience, we believe it is vital for you to be aware of the issues we encountered. As loyal customers, we sincerely hope that you take our feedback into consideration and take measures to rectify these shortcomings. We kindly request that you address our concerns promptly and provide us with any necessary feedback or solutions to ensure that we can continue to enjoy the quality service and culinary standards that we have come to expect from your establishment. Went for an all you can eat breakfast and trust me you can’t eat anything unless you like eating raw meat - bacon looks like it’s just been carved off the pig, the sausages are the complete opposite, you could use them as projectiles and potentially kill a man. Service slow and awful, ordered 5 drinks and she clearly wasn’t listening cause we ended up with 6 and was charged. Won’t be going again until they buy an oven or at the very least a timer for cooking the food Awful

Love a good Toby's, and have recently tried breakfast for the first time (and have returned twice since purely for value for money). Speaking purely on behalf of breakfast experience (dinner-time carvery is always fine), a particular member of staff wasn't very welcoming. You order and pay for breakfast and collect your drinks at the bar, then serve yourself breakfast. Most staff members behind the bar are nice and friendly, but one lady was particularly short with us (Saturday November 18th around 9:10) Luckily it was my second time visiting and I knew what I was doing, because if I was visiting for a first time, I think she'd have made us feel almost like an inconvenience like it isn't part of her job to serve guests at the bar 🙃 I was visiting with my boyfriend and his sister who was visiting from Manchester (who's never had a Toby's breakfast) and I felt embarrassed that we received service like that when she was visiting. Thankfully, other bar staff have been very nice and friendly. Anyway. Decent food. Value for money. Normally a good experience. Will still return in the hopes that that particular member of staff was having a bad day if she serves us again.
