Great place! We use it regularly for work and personally. The prices are incredibly cheap and all of the staff are very friendly and approachable. There are several rooms that are perfect for functions. Definitely recommend.
Used to be a great wmc club, I personally feel its a shame its been allowed to decline into what its become. Its not a cheap club regarding beer prices, however 'spirits' are very reasonably priced. Have always found the clientele are top notch, good people. This club used to have a very strict discipline code, the committee were the law, without exception. Now, in my experience I sense a total lack of any such presence. As with any pub, club, its the 'people' who ultimately make the place a good place to socialize, or a bad place etc, the east end park is a classic example of this, its the people who frequent the club that make it a good place to have a drink, chat, etc, again its a shame that the members who built this club, made it into what it is, are so badly neglected by whoever runs the club. For the people who reside in the immediate vicinity this is a convenient club to use, though I doubt anybody making special arrangements to use the clubs facilities who may live further away would be repeating the experience in a rush. As with anything else however, give it a try, make your own opinions, I can assure you that you will be greeted by friendly, colourful, and interesting characters.
