Lovely meal, plenty of meat. Service second to none, went out of their way to accommodate my dietary needs. Just passing through or would make it our regular eating place.
We were a party of 8 celebrating a late Christmas so had the Festive menu. We had been allocated a long table in the function room which was perfect and very private. Jordan (I think that was his name and serving us on table 38) was superb. He gave us time to open presents and was very discreet. He is a gem and an absolute credit to 'Toby' I hope that this recognition will be forwarded to him. I can't think of anything negative about our experience at all. Well done Jordan!
We visited Toby Carvery today on Christmas Eve and despite it being so busy we were still extremely happy with both the food and the service. We were served by Noah who was a fantastic server and could not have been more attentive if he tried. In the past, we have felt rushed and forgotten about at Toby Carvery but Noah made sure this wasn’t the case. He routinely checked everything was okay with our food and offered more drinks when our glasses were running low. Thanks Noah, 5 star service!
A nice greeting from the waitress, who took us to our reserved table. The carvery was excellent as always with a wonderful variety of vegetables. I am bringing 9 Italian people for breakfast next week who do not know what a full English breakfast is.
All you can eat, buffet style breakfast at Toby Carvery has to be one of my favourites. Always a good selection of breakfast foods to create your own fry-up. You can even get a yorkshire pudding and gravy. However, the food can go cold if you’re not quick to start eating. Overall it’s a very well priced place, good sized meals, with a variety of drink options too. There’s also plenty of parking, and an outdoor area.
