Great village pub, friendly landlord great service
We stopped for a quick couple of beers on the way home from a day out in Derbyshire. It was quiet in ambience on a hot Saturday, with a good selection of ales and a lovely beer garden with a great view over the Holme Valley. The landlord was very friendly and welcoming.
Popped in during a walk with the dog, the owners were really hospitable and the food lovely, Daisee the dog loved her sausage and the homemade quiche was the best I’d ever tasted. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and we will be back.
Wonderful stout and wonderful people. Friendly local pub. Would recommend highly.
Always busy and bustling whenever we go. Bar staff are amazing. Great food when it is on. Pizza on Thursday but they often sell out. Special occasion food is worth going in for as Chris is s great chef.
