As always brilliant, first time we've been back in 14 years but it's still a very nice quirky pub,the meals looked really tasty will defo be back to eat next time.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff and lovely food. Our only quibble was the fact that the steak night was listed as costing £45 for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine. The steaks were perfectly cooked and the wine was really good but when we got the bill it was £53. When we queried the £8 they said it was the mushroom sauce we had. The different sauces were offered when we ordered the steaks so we felt it was a bit sneaky to arbitrarily add the cost on without mentioning the fact that we were going to be charged extra.

Loved the visit. Back/beer garden is quirky but really cosy. The staff is very attentive. Good quality food despite ordering Sunday roast, that I'm not the biggest fan of. I will visit again if in the area.
